About the studio on the water

Since childhood, Agustina has been drawn to painting, inspired by close Spanish family members who awakened her love for art, creativity, and making with her hands. Although architecture, design, and construction shaped much of her professional path, painting has always remained a constant presence and a way of feeling and seeing the world around her. After a couple of years building her house atelier is finally working from her studio overlooking the Markermeer aboard Euphrate Houseboat in Amsterdam. Her paintings explore space, light, abstraction and emotional colors, often inspired by her deep connection to plants and nature. Through oil, acrylic, watercolor, and resin, she approaches painting as a continuous search rather than a fixed destination.
